Delivery of a new ninety-five horsepower Ford fire truck was made to the Gratz Fire Company on Monday of this week.
Equipment of the company’s former truck was mounted on the new chassis at the factory in Anderson, Indiana. It includes among other equipment, a pump and booster tank, and is capable of carrying more than a thousand feet of fire hose. Purchase was made through the George C. Adams Agency of Gratz.
Officials of the Gratz Fire Company are: Harry Kissinger, president; Melvin Herb, vice president; Daniel Koppenhaver, secretary; William Reed, treasurer.

- Second Assistant Chief: Charles Schoffstall.
- Foreman” Marlin Umholtz.
- First Assistant Foreman: Peter Stine.

- Trustees: John Kissinger; William Steely; Charles Weis.
The company was organized in 1924.
