Reunion of the Gratz High School
On Wednesday, evening, September 4th [1912], the pupils of the Gratz High School, during Prof. H. E. Klinger‘s principalship, met at his home to do him honor and respect. This certainly shows the harmony that existed. The citizens and pupils realize that they lost an excellent friend and educator, when he moved from their midst.
The evening was spent in music, singing and various games. After playing till a late hour, the party left for their respective homes well pleased, bade their beloved Professor farewell, and wished him success in his new field of work.
The following were present: Misses Anna Hepler; Lizzie Bowman; Elda Blyler; Meda Umholtz; Catharine Hand; Eva Blyler; Anna Coleman; Gertrude Lebo; Ella Hartman; Ruth Fidler; Daisy Umholtz; Dorothy Fidler; Margaret Strayer; Blanche Hoffman; Blanche Hepler; Marian Hoffman; Amy Riegel; Iva Koppenhaver; Mary Grose; Marie Buffington; Flossie Zerfing; Mae Hess; Katie Matter; and Grace Klinger. Messrs. Joseph Ritzman; Earl Hoffman; Roy Schminky; Leo Solada; Gordon Schminky; Allen Schoffstall; Lloyd Bellis; Isaiah Schminky; Elmer Bellis; Clarence Portzline; Carlos Daniel; and Prof. H. E.
