Dr. Joseph Gamber of Tower City was a business caller in town on Friday.
Miss Gertrude Lebo left Sunday afternoon for Hummelstown after having spent a two week’s vacation with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. W. E. Lebo.
Mr. and Mrs. Guy Klinger and daughter Lois Klinger of Lykens spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Umholtz.
Mrs. Sallie Laudenslager made a trip to Harrisburg, Wednesday.
Dr. Dunkelberger of Valley View was a business caller in town on Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. William Troutman, daughters Charlotte Troutman and Anna Troutman of Big Run called on the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. U. Kratzer and family recently.
Lewis Knohr returned to his school at Shippensburg Tuesday, after spending the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Knohr and family.
Mr. and Mrs. William Keefer of Dornsife called at the home of Clarence Koppenhaver and family, Saturday afternoon.
Dr. G. W. Myers of Lykens was seen in town Saturday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. John Phillips, announce the birth of a daughter, January 4th.
Mrs. John Wolfe of Harrisburg called on her mother, Mrs. Catherine Williard recently.
Arthur Buffington of Valley View was seen in town during the past week.
Mr. and Mrs. Homer Coleman and children of Sacramento visited the home of Mrs. Coleman’s mother, Mrs. Mary Umholtz, recently.
Dr. Bogar of Millersburg called on his parents here recently.
The Hoover brothers of Berrysburg were business callers in town Saturday afternoon.
George Adams made a business trip to Chester last Thursday and Friday.
Harry Schmidt of Pottsville called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Buffington Thursday afternoon.
J. Frank Boyer of town is spending several weeks visiting his daughters, Mrs. John Latsha and family at Lyndhurst, New Jersey and Miss Miriam Boyer at Philadelphia.
J. W. Phillips, postmaster, made a trip to Klingerstown, Thursday.
Harper Umholtz is a patient in the Harrisburg Hospital at this writing.
