Rev. Ralph Todd, of Pine Swamp, was entertained over the week end at the the home of C. U. Kratzer and family.
Miss Jennie Kissinger attended the Synodical Missionary Convention at Hazleton, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Miss Kissinger was accompanied by Rev. and Mrs. W. Z. Artz, of Elizabethville.
Miss Gertrude Lebo and Mr. Alvin Walton, of Hummelstown, spent Sunday at the home of the former’s sister, Mrs. Heister Blyler and family and other relatives of this place.
Mr. and Mrs. Austin Rothermel and daughter Marle Rothermel spent Friday at the home of Rev. and Mrs. R. L. McNally in Sunbury.
Mrs. Phaen Rehrer, of Tremont, spent Sunday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Clarence Miller and family.
Miss Catherine Reed and friend Mr. Warren Lahr, of Dornsife, called at the home of her grandfather, Jacob Witmer and family, Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Schwalm, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Scheib of Williamstown, were Sunday visitors at the home of C. U. Kratzer and family.
Mr. and Mrs. John Wolfe and daughter Lois Wolfe, of Harrisburg, spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. Catherine Willier and William Wolfe.
Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Schurman and Miss Hilda Coleman, of Harrisburg, spent Sunday among relatives of this place.
Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Gwyther, of Wiconisco, spent Saturday evening, of last week at the home of the latter’s father, Jacob Witmer and family.
Mrs. Dora Shaffer and her mother, Mrs. Amanda Kissinger and friends, of Rife, attended the Reformed Church services here on Sunday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Portzline and children, of York, spent the week end at the home of the latter’s mother, Mrs. Catherine Fiddler.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Raker and father George Raker, of Trevorton, spent Sunday of last week at the home of Mrs. Adeline Miller.
Mr. and Mrs. C. U. Kratzer attended Evangelical Conference Sessions at Lancaster during last week.
J. H. Witmer and daughter Sula Witmer attended the funeral of a relative at Valley View, Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Riegel and Miss Gertrude Gise, of Harrisburg, called in town here during the week.
Mrs. Meda Huntzingter and children, of Hegins, Mrs. Eva Kissinger and family, of Elizabethville, called in town here, Saturday evening.
Charles Tobias, of Palmyra; Mr. and Mrs. Scott Barr and daughter Catherine Barr, of Hegins, visited among relatives of this place Sunday.
