Bryant C. Hain died in Pittsburgh, December 29, 2019, at the age of 39. His obituary stated that he graduated from Upper Dauphin High School in 1999, and received a degree in hotel and restaurant management in 2003. After graduation, he owned and operated Reed’s Inn in Gratz, “where he was well-known for his warmth and hospitality.” In 2011, he relocated to Indiana, Pennsylvania, to work in his wife’s family business.

Reed’s inn was originally my Grandmother’s hotel and bar. She passed it on to Hilda and “Gummy” Rothermel. Gummy was mayor for many years of Gratz.
