The last confirmation at Simeon Reformed Church took place in 1969. At that time, the Reformed Church in the United States had already merged with other denominations to become the United Church of Christ. However, discussions were underway at the Simeon Church to merge the former Reformed Church Congregation with the Simeon Lutheran Congregation. In October 1969, the merger was complete and the two congregations became Simeon United Lutheran Church.
Unfortunately, most of the boys and girls in the photograph of the last class are unidentified. Those who are identified are numbered according to the key in the picture below.
