ORGANIZE SPANISH CLUB
GRATZ, Pennsylvania, January 11 [1927] — A Spanish Club was recently organized by several of town under the direction of Miss Clara Kast, assistant principal of Gratz High School. She has been a student and teacher of Spanish for a number of years and is very capable of taking charge. The object of the club is for a more thorough and intelligent understanding and appreciation of the Spanish language. The club meets every Tuesday evening in one of the High School rooms. The members speak and write in Spanish, translate and study Spanish classics and listen to the instruction of Miss Kast.
The members are as follows: Clara Kast; Mildred Kocher; Mrs. Clarence HEarst; Neva Williard; Arland Lebo; WIlli0am Wingard; Prof. Clarence HEarst; and Louis Knohr.
