A photograph from W. J. McNoldy of Gratz, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, taken about 1905.
The type of photograph shown here was known as a “cabinet card” and measures the typical 4.5″ x 6.5″. At this time, McNoldy used a rubber stamp to apply his name to the back of the photo. This was unlike other area photographers who used wither embossed or printed cards to which they attached the photo.
Identified in the cabinet card shown above:
Melva Sitlinger (1901-1985); Harrison Isaac “Jack” Sitlinger (1904-1953); Albert Leroy Sitlinger (1903-1973).
These were the children of Samuel Sitlinger and Bertha [Riegle] Sitlinger of Specktown, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
Other McNoldy photos are sought, individuals identified or not identified, to post here.
