A representation of the Halifax Drug Store, Halifax, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, produced on a wood block by Hometowne Collectibles for the Halifax Area Historical Society.
On the back of the block is the following description of drug store:
HALIFAX DRUGSTORE
The house on the northeast corner of the town square was once the Union Hotel and in later years was acquired by John Braucher for a drug store and ice cream and soda bar. Other owners were Paris Wilfong and Flora Wilfong; Samuel Dryer; and Ralph Sanders.
Frank Fahenstock had it as a shoe repair store and later Robert Brown and Shirley Brown had it as a general store.
It was torn down in 1988 and replaced by a Uni-Mart.
