A 1909 colorized photo post card view of the new Mulberry Street Bridge by night, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
This bridge replaced one built in 1891 that connected the Allison Hill neighborhood of East Harrisburg to the Downtown area of the city. The concrete bridge spans Cameron Street and Paxton Creek as well as the railroad lines leading to the Pennsylvania Railroad Station. In 1909, it was considered a modern marvel.
