Harry Harper Hepler Jr. was born in Gratz, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, the son of Harry Harper Hepler Sr. (1927-2006) and Laura Edna [Minnich] Hepler (1903-1983). He died July 6, 2006, in Millersburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
Following his time in professional baseball Hepler served as Vice President of the Twin-County Baseball League. [Lykens Standard, April 28, 1950].

GRATZ BOY REPORTS TO NEW YORK TEAM
Harry Hepler Jr. of Gratz, who is under contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates of the National League, has reported for spring training with the Hornell, New York team.
As a catcher, Hepler was the battery mate of Carl Scheib, now beginning his second season with the Philadelphia Athletics, when the Gratz High School team won the 1942 championship of the Upper Dauphin High School League.
Hepler is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hepler Sr., Gratz.
