WIFE OF MINE INSPECTOR BURIES SATURDAY
Mrs. Ida Price, wife of State Mine inspector, Charles J. Price, died at their home in Lykens last Wednesday following a paralytic stoke she suffered two weeks ago. Her age was 71 years.
Mrs. Price was a native of Ohio but had been a resident of Lykens since 1884, where she was a school teacher forty-five years ago. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David S. Zeigler and a member of the Glen Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors are her husband, of Lykens, a son, William Price of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Ada Zeigler , of Lykens, and Annie Ziegler of Portland, Oregon; a brother, Williard Zeigler, New York; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held from the residence at one o’clock Saturday afternoon. Rev. Boraston, pastor of the Lykens Methodist Church officiated and interment was made in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
