JOHN B. LESHER
John B. Lesher, 89, Williamstown, died in a Harrisburg hospital on Saturday.
Mr. Lesher was a son of Samuel Lesher and Clara [Becker] Lesher and was a native of Shoemakersville. He was a graduate of Kutztown State Normal School and the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy.
Mr. Lenker owned and operated the Unrivaled Hosiery Company and Bestock Underwear Company, both of Williamstown, and was formerly president of the Reading Full Fashioned Hosiery Mills Association.
Mr. Lesher was a member and trustee of the Williamstown Meethodist Church, a trustee of the Methodist Home at Cornwall, director of the Williams Valley Lumber and Construction Company, a member of WIlliamstown Borough Council and Williamstown Rotary Club.
His wife preceded him in death.
Survivors are a son, J. Lee Lesher, Williamstown; two daughters, Mrs. Woods McCausland of Winnetka, Illinois, and Mrs. Chester Wachow, of Lansdowne; one sister, Mrs. Clara Clemmer of Muir; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday afternoon and interment was made in the Laureldale Cemetery, Reading.
