MRS. KATHARINE RETALLICK
Mrs. Katharine A. Retallick, age 71 years, of Williamstown, widow of William Retallick, died in the Pottsville Hospital on 9 February [1948].
Mrs. Retallick was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Pontius and was a native of Berrysburg. She had been an operator n the Williamstown exchange of the Wiconisco Telephone Company. Her husband preceded her in death eight years ago.
Mrs. Retallick was a member of the Lutheran Church, Williamstown, and the Order of Eastern Star, Millersburg.
Survivors are her father, John Pontius, of Philadelphia, and two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Hopping, of East Orange, New Jersey; and Mrs. Eva Shambaugh of Lykens.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon. Rev. R. C. Klingenshith, pastor of the Williamstown Lutheran Church officiated and interment was made in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.
