LES BROWN BRINGING ORCHESTRA TO LYKENS
In a recent issue of Billboard a review was written of Les Brown’s band at the Hollywood Palladium and among other things said “the crowd here went for the band.” You remember Doris Day who started her way up as a vocalist with Les. Following Doris Day was Eline Wilson now a favorite on Hit Parade and Les has found another in Betty Taylor who has everything it takes to hit stardom in the very near future. Ray Kellog with his baritone voice is loved wherever the band appears. Butch Stone and your own Clyde “Stumpy” Brown add the comedy touch and their side-splitting skits will have you roaring with laughter. les brings his band to Lykens as a generous contribution to a community enterprise and a good night of entertainment.
Ticks are now on sale for the show August 1.
