L. L. STURTEVANT PASSED AWAY THURSDAY
Lewis L. Sturtevant, age 68 years, died at his home, North market Street [Elizabethville], on Thursday, following a brief illness.
Mr. Sturtevant had conducted a trucking business and was proprietor of the Park Gasoline Service Station. He was member of Trinity United Brethren Church, town [Elizabethville]; the Order of the Moose, Millersburg; and was a former member of the Elizabethville Borough Council.
He was a son of the late Isaac Sturtevant and Margaret [Lenhart] Sturtevant, and was a native of Liverpool, Perry County.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Cora [Wirt] Sturtevant, and two sons, Milton Sturtevant, of Elizabethville; and Russell Sturtevant, Harrisburg; four grandchildren; one brother, Wentzel Sturtevant, and a sister, Miss Jennie Sturtevant, both of Harrisburg.
Funeral services were held from the Buffington Funeral Home, at 1:00 o’clock Monday afternoon, Rev. H. S. Kiefer, pastor of Trinity United Brethren Church, town, officiated, and interment was made in the Perry Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery.
