LOYALTON YOUNG MAN KILLED BY EXPLOSION OF GUN WHICH HE FIRED
A sad accident occurred at Loyalton between 6:00 and 6:30 last evening when Frank Lebo, 24-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. William Lebo of that place was killed by an explosion of a gun which he attempted to fire.
The young man was about to shoot a chicken hawk flying about the father’s farm. He had gone to the rear of the home and when the gun was fired it exploded, the load of the shot entering the young man’s chest. He rushed to the porch of the home where his mother was standing and informed her of what happened, and fell dead.
Surviving are his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
The Lebo home is located west of the Oakdale Station at Loyalton.
