A “memorial stone” at the location of the Loyalton railroad station, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Crudely printed on the stone is “Oakdale RR Station, 18– – 19– [and] Loylton [sic]”. The road to the left in the picture is Oakdale Station Road which begins at the traffic light in Loyalton and terminates at the location of the old station. To the right and not shown in the picture is the Lykens Valley Rail Trail, a recreational trail along the old rail bed.
