Mrs. Lydia N. Snyder, age 88 years, died at her home in Pillow Friday morning.
Mrs. Snyder was a daughter of the late Isaac Romberger and Lydia [Michael] Romberger and was a native of Lykens Township. She was a dressmaker and had conducted a millinery shop at Pillow many years. She was a member of the Pillow Reformed Church and had been a teacher of the Ladies’ Bible Class of the Sunday School.
Survivors are two daughters and three sons: Mrs. Robert Messner, Sunbury; Mrs. Arthur Klinger, Washington, D. C.; John N.Snyder, Williamstown; Harry T. Snyder, Detroit; and Samuel I. Snyder, Washington, D. C. Other survivors are eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Harvey Lehman, Elizabethville.
Services were held from the Marlin Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, at 4 o’clock Sunday afternoon. Rev. R. T. Schellhase, pastor of the Pillow Reformed Charge officiated and interment was made in Grand View cemetery at Pillow.
