THE PRESENT SENIOR CLASS OF THE LYKENS HIGH SCHOOL
Composed of fourteen boys and girls who commence their last year’s work on Monday, August the 29th. But two of the pupils have conditions and are given an opportunity to pass them on Saturday, August the 27th.
The schools will reopen with what is expected to be the largest attendance for some years.
Miss Margaret Yeager of Susquehanna University, takes the place of Mrs. Fetterhoff in the high school faculty. Mr. Hoffman and Miss Wingert takes the place of Miss Ulsh and Miss Reinecker, who are going to Porto Rico to teach in the Island schools, and Miss Catherine Jones of Wiconisco, takes the place of Miss Beryl Scholl in the second grade.
None of the students pictured in the photo are identified.
According to a list of high school graduates from Lykens High School, the following students graduated in 1911:
Annie Harris; Helen Kniley; Mildred Matter; May Moyer; David Evans; Rusell Fox; Ray Good; Robert Minnich; Ray Moyer; Barton Myers; Rue Shoop; Carroll Thomas; Ralph Gonder; Effie Mae Evans.
