A photograph of the 5-bay engine house and turntable of the Pennsylvania Railroad at Lykens, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. This view appeared on a stereoscopic card produced by Isaac Kunkel of Lykens. Both the turntable and the engine house appear on a pre-Civil War map of Lykens. This structure was located east of the Lykens station. The date of the photograph has not been established.
Another photo has been located which purports to be that of the Lykens engine house with engines in the bays and workers posing at the site. However, the doors are of a different style and the photograph may be from a different building elsewhere.
