An undated photograph, probably taken in the early 20th century, showing a trolley arriving at the Lykens Railroad Station, South Market Street, Lykens, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. This was the end of the trolley line which ran from Porter Township through Tower City, Williamstown, and Wiconisco.
The conductor was able to operate the trolley from the cab in each end, but before he reversed course on the single-track line, he had to move the trolley pole so it pointed to the rear (the opposite direction that the trolley was traveling).
