UHLER DRUG STORE FIRE ESTIMATED $2,000
The fire which occurred at the Uhler Drug Store, Main and Market Streets, Saturday morning, October 25 [1924], caused a loss estimated at about $2,000. The blaze was started it is thought by an open wire, and for a time it was feared would prove serious. Lykens Fire Department extinguished the blaze. Dr. Uhler in a statement Tuesday evening said the total amount of the loss was not known at that time.
