The lifeless body of Mrs. Mabel Musser, 60, wife of Ray M. Musser, 478 Center Street, was found near Shippen Run Dam, north of town, last Friday morning. Deputy Coroner Dr. Myron A. Todd, of Halifax, said it was a case of self-destruction by fire, Thursday afternoon, and released the body to the Riegle Funeral Home. Mrs. Musser had been inn impaired health for a number of years.
She was the daughter of the late John H. Lebo and Caroline [Hartman] Lebo, of Upper Paxton Township, where she was born 28 June 1890. She was a life-long resident of this community [Millersburg]. Mrs. Musser was a member of David’s Reformed Church, Killinger, and the Ladies’ Guild of the church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a sister, Mrs. A. Laura Lenker, R.D. 1; two nieces and a nephew.
Services were held from the Riegle Funeral Hime, 512 Market Street, Sunday at 2 p.m. Rev. Elden E. Ehrhart officiating, assisted by Rev. S. A. Sitler. Interment was made in David’s Reformed Cemetery, Killinger.
