Melva Sitlinger was Postmaster of Loyalton from 26 February 1940 through her retirement on 30 December 1963.

Farily sure the photo was taken on the yard of Harvey and Jenny Snyder, on the east side of their house in Loyalton. (Oakdale Station Road and Route 209. Building in the background are now apartments. Over time it was Piltz’s garage, Colliers Tea Room or Resturant. The last business was Art Klouser’s Barber Shop.
