In 1875, a two-story brick school house was built on Moore Street, Millersburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, to house grades five through ten. The two-story brick school house on Center Street, built in 1862, continued to be used, but only for grades one through four.
A two-year high school course was organized in 1877, and at that point, the first floor of the Moore Street School was used for grades eight through ten, and grades five through seven were housed on the second floor.
In 1914-1915, a large addition containing an auditorium, office, classrooms and a science laboratory was constructed to enlarge the Moore Street School.
