I don’t remember my first horseback ride, but a photographer was there to document the event. This photo essay shows my grandparents, William Dietrich (1896-1977) and Helen [Hoffman] Dietrich (1895-1977) along with my father at the Riegle-Dietrich homestead in Specktown, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
