A sudden wind storm, twister or tornado completely destroyed the poultry barn belonging to the Raebuck family of Orwin, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania on 10 April 1952. Raebuck and his son, who were cleaning the barn at the time of the incident, escaped injury by crouching near a standing water pipe.
The photo is from the West Schuylkill Herald of 11 April 1952 and was submitted by a neighbor, Gene E. Bendigo.
