Rev. Jacob M. Stover, age 92 years, a retired minister of the Lutheran Church, died at his home in Selinsgrove Friday afternoon.
During his fifty years in the ministry, Rev. Stover served as pastor of churches at McClure, Fisherville, Sardia, Snydertown Parish, Liverpool, and the Glade Parish in Somerset County.
His wife, who was formerly Miss Ella Mae Houseworth of Selinsgrove, died in march this year.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Stover, of Selinsgrove; Paul J. Stover, Sunbury; and two daughters, Mrs. Mertie Spotts and Mrs. Nellie Lytle, both of Selinsgrove; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Selinsgrove Tuesday afternoon, and interment was made in Baker’s Cemetery at that place.
