Fr. John Darby was a Williamstown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, native who became a Christian Brother of the Marianist Order. He was principal of he Chaminade School for boys for many years. When his brother Fr. James Darby died, he decided to take his place and so went into the seminary. He was ordained a priest, June 1972. After his ordination, he visited Mercy Crest and said a Mass for Sister Edana and relatives.
