ROY M. HESS
Roy M. Hess, age 48 years, of Penbrook, died suddenly at the Simmons Company, Harrisburg.
Mr. Hess was a son of Harry Hess and Jennie [Shade] Hess of Gratz. His father, who for a number of years, engaged in the bakery business in Gratz, preceded him in death.
Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Jennie Hess, of Gratz; one daughter, Mrs. Marvin W. Walter of Penbrook; one sister, Mrs. Leo Rogers; and a brother, Forrest S. Hess, of Gratz.
Services were held from the Kimmel Funeral Home, Harrisburg, at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon.
Rev. Dr. A. M. Billman, pastor of the Fourth Reformed Church, Harrisburg, officiated, and interment was made in the Prospect Hill Cemetery, that city.
