A snapshot photograph taken about 1942 of Harold Dietrich (1919-1988) in his World War II military uniform (Army Air Corps) standing next to his wife Quineta [Hamlin] Dietrich (1921-2013), at right.
Harold and Quineta were married some time around 1942 and were divorced in 1945 in Lubbock County, Texas. This is the only known photo of both taken at the homestead.
On the left are the Troutman’s, left to right: Judy [Troutman] Kleinbauer; Paul “Silas” Troutman (1916-2007); and Lucy [Sitlinger] Troutman. Lucy and Harold were second cousins and both were descendants of Harrison Riegle (1840-1899) and Hannah [Rickert] Riegle (1847-1919).
The above photo, taken at the same time, pictures Bertha [Riegle] Sitlinger (1879-1952), Lucy’s grandmother; Harold Dietrich; and Harold’s mother, Helen [Hoffman] Dietrich (1895-1977).
The photographs were taken on the Riegle-Dietrich homestead in Specktown, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
