#4. Playing croquet. James T. Gasbarro; William E. Gasbarro. In photos #3 and #4, the home at the right, peeking through the trees, was owned by Catherine [Hoffman] Engle (1888-1973) and was at the juncture of Old Specktown Road and New Specktown Road.
August 1958 was nearing the end of the annual, extended summer visits of the Gasbarro boys to Specktown and the farm of their grandparents, William E. Dietrich and Helen [Hoffman] Dietrich.
