MRS. SUSAN A. TRAVITZ
Mrs. Susan Amanda Travitz, age 91 years, widow of Cornelius Travitz, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Curtis Zimmerman, Tower City, Wednesday evening. She was a member of the Tower City Evangelical United Brethren Church.
Mrs. Travitz was a daughter of the late John Zimmerman and Mary Ann [Minnich] Zimmerman, and was a native of Armstrong Valley, Dauphin County.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Zimmerman; one son, Ralph Travitz, of Penbrook; a half-brother, Charles Barry of Elizabethville; eighteen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren and eighteen great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Tower City Evangelical United Brethren Church at 2 o’clock Monday afternoon. The pastor, Rev. Lloyd Beamesderfer will officiate and interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City. Friends may call at the church Monday from 12 to 2 p.m.
