This building was erected in 1922 for use as Tower City High School, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. It remained in use as Tower City High School until Pennsylvania urged the creation of larger school units. First, the Porter Township Schools and the Tower City Schools formed a jointure in 1959, and within a short time, Rush Township was included. Then, in 1963, the Williams Valley School District was created and the building became the property of that district.
