In 1969, due to an expanding student population at the Upper Dauphin Area Schools and the inability of the current school buildings to accommodate the additional pupils, the district approved the purchase of two “portable” or relocatable classrooms.

UDA PURCHASES RELOCATABLE CLASSROOMS
Pictured above is one of the two relocatable classrooms to be purchased by the Upper Dauphin Area School District. The buildings are to be completed and in place by August 15th of this year [1969].
