NO PROSECUTION IN DEATH OF BRANCHDALE MAN [1934]
An announcement last week, reported to have been issued by District Attorney Karl E. Richards of Dauphin County, contained information that there would be no criminal prosecution resulting from the death of George Daggett, 31, of Branchdale, Schuylkill County, who died in a Philadelphia hospital two weeks ago.
It was first reported that Daggett had sustained a fractured scull during a labor disturbance in Elizabethville in October. An inquest however, disclosed that he had died of a ruptured blood vessel caused by a blood disease, it was stated.
