FIVE FINED FOR BREAKING HIGHWAY LIGHTS
Frank Charney, George Rigdoah, Paul Krepich and Edward Long of Wiconisco, and Frank Stoudt of Dayton [Williams Township],were arrested Saturday and brought before Squire Wren in Williamstown, charged with breaking lights along the highways in Williams Township. The young men pleaded guilty to the charge and were imprisoned in the Williamstown Borough lock-up. It was decided by the company late Saturday to free the young men upon payment of $100.00 fine imposed and costs. It cost each of the lads about $2.00. It is estimated they broke between 10 and 12 of the high watt globes along the highway. Several other young men are under suspicion for the same act and more arrests by the East Penn Company are expected in the course of several days.
