Mrs. Earl Adams of Orwin, Pennsylvania, has been notified that her son, Pvt. Harvey L. Adams, 23, was killed in action in France, 6 June [1944].
Pvt. Adams was the son of Mrs. Ida [Kohr] Adams and the late Earl Adams, who died about a year ago. He was a native of Orwin and had been employed at the Westwood Colliery prior to entering the army in October 1943.
Survivors are his mother, his wife, formerly Miss Faye Soliday, of Tower City, and infant son, Harvey Lee Adams; two brothers, Lester Adams, at home, Pfc. Earl Adams, serving with the army in Italy; and three sisters, Ruth Adams, Cardella Adams, and Merle Adams, all at home.
