The “Honor Roll” in Lykens, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, that recognized citizens who were serving in the armed forces of the United Stated in World War II. This was located on Market Street and was similar in design to tributes in other Lykens Valley communities. The wording at the bottom states: “For the Preservation of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.”
This “Honor Roll” no longer exists. Names on the board can be published here on this blog, if submitted by someone who has an accurate list, or a copy of the photograph is submitted on which the names can be read.
